Having started his advertising career in 2000, as a junior copywriter at LDB Lintas, now known as MullenLowe, Paul has worked in a number of multinational and local agencies, working himself up to the level of Senior Creative Director before leaving the main stream agencies in 2018 to start his own venture called Mercenary Creatives.
Having worked for 25 years with a varied range of brands, both local and international, from FMCG, banking & finance, automotive, service industry, food & beverage, real estate, leisure industry and education, Paul has a good knowledge of how to tackle a brand’s overall marcom requirements in a creative yet effective, result oriented manner.
David Blacker is an ethnographic and documentary photographer based in Colombo, specialising in the people, places, and culture of his native Sri Lanka. With a background in advertising, he recognises the importance of comprehending the human perspective. Blacker’s experience as an art director, creative director, award-winning novelist, and published illustrator has given him an acute understanding of story-telling that long preceded his picking up of a camera.
Beginning his photographic career as a travel photographer, Blacker was a regular contributor to Serendib, the online magazine of Sri Lankan Airlines, and Explore Sri Lanka, the country’s premier travel publication. He has also shot on assignment for the New York Times and Die Zeit. He now spends his time creating visual stories for a variety of corporate clients, travel and hospitality brands and NGOs. Blacker is also a member of the London-based photo agency, Panos Pictures.
When not shooting on assignment, Blacker can be found walking through his home city, dedicated to capturing the changing lives and culture of the people of Colombo

Zarka is a seasoned leader with over a decade of experience across Marketing, Management, and Human Resources. As Director, she is responsible for managing the company’s day-to-day administrative operations, ensuring that all departments operate smoothly and efficiently.

She is deeply committed to building strong teams, fostering a positive workplace culture, and driving operational excellence. Having begun her career in the ad industry in 2004, when she started as an AV Executive at LOWE LDB Samadi Weerakoon completed 4 years, and moved to the production side of things, joining an established Production House, Sky Entertainers in 2017.
She spent the next 7 years gathering extensive knowledge in post-production and production processes which enables her to have a firm grasp on any project.
In 2024, she embarked on the journey of forming her own company which is now known as The Visual Junction.
At Visual Junction, Samadi has built for herself a formidable reputation for high quality creative work, that delivers results in a quick and efficient manner.
Dhammika is a communication specialist with over 30 years of experience across top agencies like JWT, Ogilvy, Lowe, and McCann Erickson. He has managed major brands including British Airways, Guinness, Nokia, Unilever, Nestlé, HSBC, and Fonterra.
Dhammika later served as Communications Analyst at Sri Lanka’s National Council for Economic Development, driving public-private collaboration with UNDP support. After relocating to the UK, he became a Director at C, M & D Consultants, while continuing projects in Sri Lanka — notably leading a pioneering hologram campaign for the Sri Lankan President.
From 2016 to 2018, Dhammika advised the Ministry of Finance and Ministry of Foreign Affairs, where he launched a social media unit and introduced new A/V technologies. He then worked on the Asian Development Bank Rooftop Solar Energy Project and currently consults on marketing communications, most recently leading a digital campaign for JEDB Eco Tea Tourism.
